Course Description:

Integrated Training of Across-professions is a compulsory practical course for Business Administration majors. Utilizing advanced information technologies, this course builds a highly simulated economic environment platform, enabling students to take on various roles within a virtual enterprise and experience the full process of business creation, operations, management, and market competition. It aims to deepen students’ understanding of economic and industry environments, while enhancing their business handling capabilities, management awareness, and commercial communication skills through inter-enterprise competition and collaboration. Covering modern manufacturing and service sectors, the course offers comprehensive management training to equip students with a wide range of professional skills.

 

Learning Outcomes:

Master theoretical knowledge in areas such as enterprise management, production planning, sales strategy, financial planning, and taxation;

Understand the basic operational processes of modern manufacturing and service industries.

Be able to formulate and implement business production plans, sales strategies, and financial plans;

Develop the ability to solve complex problems, including market research, data analysis, and strategic planning;

Improve teamwork, communication, coordination, and decision-making skills.

Cultivate sound ethical and professional values;

Demonstrate strong verbal communication and interpersonal skills;

Develop a pragmatic mindset and a strong sense of self-directed and lifelong learning.

 

Teaching Methods:

The course adopts diversified teaching methods, including:

Intensive modular teaching: Conducted over concentrated time periods;

Game-based learning, real-scene simulation, role-playing, and collaborative discussion: To enhance student engagement and practical competence;

Incentive, validation, and reflection-based learning: Encouraging exploration, review, and improvement of strategies to foster innovation;

Four categories of simulation training: Departmental collaboration, enterprise operations, supply chain competition & cooperation, and service industry coordination, providing a comprehensive enhancement of students’ integrated capabilities.

 

Assessment Methods:

Final grades consist of two parts:

Task and report performance (50%): Each simulation session has specific tasks that must be completed within a given timeframe and are assessed based on quality.

Process documentation and attendance (50%): Focuses on students’ engagement throughout the training, particularly business performance and ideological-moral qualities, such as professionalism, innovation, responsibility, team spirit, strategic mindset, and resilience.
