Course Description:

Enterprise Management Diagnosis is an elective course designed for undergraduate students majoring in Business Administration. It focuses on the fundamental principles, theories, and skills of modern enterprise management consulting and diagnosis. The course emphasizes the integration of theory and practice, aiming to enhance students’ ability to analyze and resolve management issues, as well as to improve their overall competence and adaptability in real-world business environments.

 

Learning Outcomes:

Upon completing this course, students will be able to:

Understand the core principles, tools, methods, and outcome evaluation processes of enterprise management diagnosis;

Apply management diagnosis in various areas, including strategic management, organizational management, human resource management, financial management, marketing, operations, and project management;

Develop foundational leadership, organizational, communication, collaboration, and managerial problem-solving abilities;

Utilize innovative thinking and methods to address real-world enterprise management challenges.

 

Teaching Methods:

This course adopts a heuristic lecture-based approach, supplemented by case analysis, to integrate theoretical knowledge with practical application. Specific methods include:

Heuristic lectures: Systematic instruction to help students master the theoretical foundations and key concepts of management diagnosis;

Case studies: Use of real or simulated enterprise cases to enhance students' practical understanding;

Seminar-style teaching: Student–teacher interaction and group discussions to develop communication and teamwork skills;

Independent research and reading: Encourages students to explore beyond the classroom and gain insights into real-world management issues.

Assessment Methods:

Final grades are composed of two components:

Class performance (60%): Includes self-study quiz results, assignment quality, ideological education evaluation, attendance, class participation, and discussion contributions;

Final exam (40%): Assesses students’ understanding of enterprise management diagnosis theory and their ability to apply it in practice.
