1. Course Description
Entrepreneurial Competence is a foundational course for graduate students in economic and management-related fields, including Engineering Management. It is a highly practical course that covers key aspects of entrepreneurship, such as entrepreneurial mindset, entrepreneurial environment, entrepreneurial value, entrepreneurial collaboration, entrepreneurial responsibility, entrepreneurial action, entrepreneurial innovation, and entrepreneurial leadership.
The course aims to help students grasp the fundamental concepts, principles, and practices of entrepreneurial management. It also emphasizes understanding the green, responsible, and sustainable development issues of entrepreneurial projects, enabling students to create greater value for society.
2. Learning Outcomes
Through the study of Entrepreneurial Competence, students will:
Enhance their understanding of entrepreneurship and entrepreneurial management.
Develop the skills necessary for entrepreneurship and entrepreneurial management, providing guidance for future entrepreneurial endeavors.
Gain the ability to apply entrepreneurial theories and practices to support other entrepreneurs, even if they do not start their own businesses, by offering assistance and management expertise.
3. Teaching Methods
The course employs a combination of theoretical lectures, entrepreneurial case studies, and extracurricular research interviews to deliver its content.
4. Assessment Methods
The final grade is composed of regular performance and a final exam.
Regular Performance (50%):
Process Evaluation (e.g., attendance, classroom participation).
Self-Directed Learning (e.g., assignments, including group case analysis, business plan writing, short essays, and research interview reports).
Final Exam (50%):
The exam assesses students' theoretical knowledge of entrepreneurship and their ability to analyze case studies. Case analysis focuses on evaluating the sustainable development of entrepreneurial enterprises based on factors such as entrepreneurial mindset, environment, value, collaboration, responsibility, action, innovation, and leadership.
