1. Course Description

Green Supply Chain Management is a core compulsory course for graduate students in Engineering Management. Building on prerequisite courses such as Logistics and Logistics System Planning, this course delves into the theory and practice of green supply chain management. It covers the entire lifecycle management of products, from raw material procurement, production, and logistics transportation to product recycling.

Students will learn how to integrate environmental principles into supply chain processes to reduce resource consumption and environmental pollution, while enhancing corporate social responsibility and sustainable development capabilities. The course content includes key areas such as green design, clean energy applications, circular economy models, environmental risk assessment, and compliance management.

By the end of the course, students will:

3. Teaching Methods

The course adopts a blended teaching approach, combining case studies, group discussions, and field visits. Through these methods, students will master the core strategies and tools of green supply chain management, preparing them to tackle future challenges in the green economy.

4. Assessment Methods

The final grade is composed of regular performance and a final exam:

Regular Performance (30%):

Classroom Performance and Attendance (10%):

Evaluated based on in-class exercises, participation, and responsiveness. At least three in-class exercises will be assigned.

Seminar Performance (10%):

Students will collect relevant materials on assigned topics, evaluate corresponding solutions, and present their findings in class. Criteria include quick thinking, accurate viewpoints, sufficient evidence, clear expression, and teamwork.

Case Study Performance (10%):

Students will analyze and summarize practical implementations related to supply chain knowledge based on case requirements. Evaluations will consider logical reasoning, appropriate analytical methods, completeness of the process, and adherence to formatting standards.

Final Exam (70%):
