Long engaged in research on cross-border e-commerce, the Belt and Road Initiative, and China–Central and Eastern Europe cooperation. Published 13 academic papers in related fields, including 4 as first author in core Russian journals (VAK). Three policy recommendation reports received instructions from provincial and municipal leaders, and one was adopted by the National Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference (CPPCC). Presided over one Zhejiang Provincial Philosophy and Social Sciences Planning Project, one Ningbo Philosophy and Social Sciences Planning Project, and one horizontal research project.
