The E-Commerce program has been recognized as a National First-Class Undergraduate Program, a “13th Five-Year Plan” Characteristic Program in Zhejiang Province, and an Emerging Characteristic Program during the “12th Five-Year Plan” in Zhejiang Province. It is also recognized as a strengths-based and distinctive program in Ningbo City. In 2024, it ranked A++ by the Alumni Association, topping the list of applied majors nationwide and being hailed as a top-tier applied program in China. This program offers four specialized modules: Cross-border E-Commerce, E-Commerce Design, E-Commerce IT, and E-Commerce Data Analytics.
It aims to cultivate high-quality, application-oriented talents with a solid foundation in e-commerce theory, a strong sense of responsibility, outstanding sustainable development capabilities, robust entrepreneurial and innovation skills, and an international perspective. During their studies, students systematically learn modern management theory and information technology expertise, gain a thorough understanding of the operational modes of business activities in e-commerce environments, and become proficient in applying e-commerce technologies. Upon graduation, they are equipped to take on roles in planning, applying, and managing the development of e-commerce in various enterprises, institutions, and government departments. The core courses of this program include Principles of E-Commerce, Logistics and Supply Chain Management, Internet Marketing, Web Application Technologies, E-Commerce Project Management, Online Transactions and Trade, and E-Commerce Law.
The standard duration of study for this program is four years, leading to a Bachelor's Degree in Management.
