学院设有工程管理（物流工程与管理领域）专业硕士学位授权点，拥有浙江省哲学社会科学重点研究基地-临港现代服务业与创意文化研究中心；管理科学与工程一级学科为浙江省一流学科和宁波市重点学科（A类），服务管理与工程二级学科为浙江省重点学科，物流管理与工程、企业管理等二级学科为宁波市重点学科；共建宁波市海上丝绸之路研究院省高校新型智库等省级研究平台3个；建有浙江省高校“港口经济”创新团队、中国物流学会产学研合作基地及中国交通企业管理协会物流委员会的中国物流人才培训基地、宁波市电子商务服务与数据分析研究所、宁波市电子政务与电子商务研究所等研究基地，并与本地近百家龙头电子商务企业、物流企业、制造企业、商贸企业建立了战略合作关系，为人才培养、学科建设和教师科研服务提供了保障。
    The college has one Master's degree granted point for Engineering Management (Logistics Engineering and Management), and has a key Research Base of Philosophy and Social Sciences of Zhejiang Province-Port-based Modern Service Industry and Creative Culture Research Center; The first-level discipline of Management Science and Engineering is the first-class discipline in Zhejiang Province and the key discipline of Ningbo City (category A); The second-level discipline of service management and engineering are the key disciplines of Zhejiang Province; The secondary disciplines such as Logistics Management and Engineering and Enterprise Management are the key disciplines in Ningbo; The college has co-built 3 provincial research platforms including Ningbo Maritime Silk Road Research Institute; There are Zhejiang University “Port Economy” innovation teams, China Logistics Society Industry-University-Research Cooperation Base and China Logistics Talent Training Base of China Communications Enterprise Management Association Logistics Committee, Ningbo E-Commerce Service and Data Analysis Institute, Ningbo E-government and E-commerce Research Institute and other research bases. The college has established strategic cooperative relations with nearly 100 local leading e-commerce companies, logistics companies, manufacturing companies, and commercial and trade companies, providing guarantees for talent training, discipline construction and teacher research services.
